Kelby- The Reason I Even Have A Blog

Tonight started out as a typical Saturday evening, which may sound cliche, but it's sadly true.  To say the least, we were all a little bored.  Only one of my roommates really had plans, which left the other five of us and our friend Greg with nothing to do but make fudge and pretend like Facebook was worth scanning.

Then something happened.  One of our roommates revealed herself to be a Muse.

After eating a delicious snack prepared by Hannah the Culinary Genius, Kelby remarked that Hannah should create a food blog.  Which Hannah then did (it's called "Bon Appet{eat}" - check it out).  Well, because I always want to be like Hannah, I wanted to create a blog, which I am now doing and you are now (hopefully) reading.  I thought about doing a food blog too, but a) it would take away the uniqueness of Hannah's blog within our apartment, and b) I'm not brave enough to attempt cooking my way through my massive Easter-European cookbook.

So then I complained to Kelby.  I needed a blog.  But I needed something to blog about.   To keep me from collapsing on her bedroom floor in melodramatic despair, Kelby quickly came up with an answer to my problem.

"Write an inspiration blog."

"A what?"

"An inspiration blog.  Every day, write about something that inspires you — from a bobby pin, to Martin Luther King Jr., to Kelby G!"

And so, I created an inspiration blog, and Kelby became my day's inspiration.  She is a true Muse.  She sends inspiration to those around her and we sing her praises!... Figuratively.  Thank you, Kelby, Muse of the Blog.
